Combine this with his profession as a school P.E teacher and Dean possesses all the key ingredients, making him one of the most sought after coaches in the sport today.

  • Classes are aimed at children and teenagers between the ages of 5 and 15.

  • Our children’s curriculum is structured just like our adults, to offer an authentic Muay Thai experience.

We feel this is one of the the biggest differences between our training and most other schools. We teach them the same techniques that we teach our adults.

Classes are taught in a fun, friendly and safe environment, but we are here to teach Muay Thai and ensure the class is always related to this subject.

  • We do a lot of technique, covering all aspects of Muay Thai. We like to study and discuss techniques in detail as it’s important to relate them to the appropriate competitive situation and understand when to utilise them.

Pad work is also a key feature in classes. Often an underestimated skill, we teach children how to hold pads correctly and how to instruct their partner hitting them.

Finally, we implement controlled sparring into our classes. An essential element of any martial art, it allows our instructors to monitor and ensure students are able to implement their training, whether it be for competition or self defence.

  • Although we have some young competitors, the majority of our students just train to learn and have fun.

We always let the students decide if they want to compete. If they show interest, we will help them and make sure they are well prepared to ensure a good experience.
